Brno Youth Symphony – Brno-City Elementary Music School Orchestra
Mladí brněnští symfonikové (MBS), the Brno Youth Symphony, is an orchestra ensemble comprising the finest students and graduates of all music schools in Brno and its vicinity. The ensemble was founded in 1994 and comprises about 50 musicians aged 13 to 28. MBS gives concerts not only in Brno and its vicinity, but also abroad, and participates in international festivals. The orchestra has won its category in the national competition organized by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport. Its composition, structure, regular sessions and range of music performed makes MBS a unique ensemble within the whole Czech Republic. The orchestra has also produced a series of recordings, the latest one released is the Symphonic Dances CD.

Roman Franc Portréty
Roman France is a young photographer living in Brno. He is a student of the Institute of Creative Photography at Silesian University in Opava. At the same time, Roman Franc is a member of the Brno photography group called Jasan. Together with the endeavour to promote the classical approach to photography, Jasan works on their plan to build a cultural center then-named Briess in Husovice. Their main vision is to organize and hold diverse, unusual activities in the field of culture; such as exhibitions, openings, concerts and other various events to promote cultural environment in the city of Brno. Roman Franc teaches photography at two private photography schools in Brno. RF likes to use the antique cameras to take pictures, just like in the old days. Moreover, he himself develops his photographs. RF often produces monochrome (black and white) images, however, he does not avoid color photography. RF is devoted to Portrait and Documentary photography.
Since art is an important part of human life and culture, helps to create our identity and contributes to the formation of socially recognized and respected values, Továrek, Horký a partneři, advokátní kancelář, s.r.o. has very much liked to use the oportunity to support the creation of the first photo book of portraits by Roman France, and thus allow the origination of something beneficial and beautiful.
