As a standard, an Agreement on Provision of Legal Services is concluded with our clients, in which it is possible to choose one of the following remuneration models for the services rendered by the Law Firm in accordance with the client’s requirements:
Hourly Rate
An hourly rate of minimum CZK 3,000.00 (exclusive of VAT) is applied for each hour of effective legal consultation. Hourly rate depends on complicacy of the case. An itemized list of actions performed regarding the legal matter will be attached to the statement of account for services charged at an hourly rate. It is recommended to use an hourly rate to determine the remuneration if the extent of legal services necessary for the accomplishment of the task in question cannot be anticipated
Fixed Fee
Fixed fee model is usually applied to single projects within a clearly defined framework. A predetermined fee is charged to the client for legal services agreed upon in advance. The amount of the fixed fee depends on the complexity of the case and expected time needed to complete the task.
Flat Fee
The Law Firm offers profitable monthly flat fees to its regular clients for its services with in a predetermined scope, the amount of which will be regularly amended in accordance with the actual volume of services rendered to the client in the previous period.
Contingency Fee
In justified cases, and on an individual basis, it is possible to agree upon a fee out of the proceeds collected on the client's behalf within the framework of the legal services rendered.
A combination of two or more above-mentioned models can be agreed upon.
In the event the fee is not agreed upon between the client and the Law Firm, the Decree no. 177/1996 Coll., on remuneration and compensation of advocates for provision of legal services (advocate tariffs), as amended, will be applied, which, among others, makes provisions for the so-called non-contractual fee.
